Life Update December 2021: Why I Haven’t Posted for a Long Time?

Posted on December 14, 2021 Leave a Comment

This is my second life update. I wrote the first last year and this time, I wouldn’t write in detailed.

So why I haven’t posted for a long time?

The answer is, this blog is one of a few blogs I maintain. Updating plug ins, writing, photo editing, are some of the tasks a blogger has to do to keep a blog going.

Or simply hire somebody. I fly solo.

But I used to juggle blogging tasks while working full time. So what gives?

I wasn’t motivated and disciplined.

When it seems that there’s not much to do other than work, I seemingly rebelled through inaction.

Nada. Create nothing. Keep procrastinating.

As the year ends, I stubbornly make myself go back into writing even though I don’t like it.

I didn’t like it before but I loved writing.

I didn’t like waking up early to write before working. I didn’t like writing on my day off. I didn’t like that ideas keep showing up while I do mundane tasks that requires focus.

It’s time to start writing again and enjoy the process of learning even if it’s inconvenient.

In the next few posts I’ll let you into some:

  • Family affairs concerning health
  • Habits I developed in this stressful times
  • Things I tried because I’ve been wanting to for a long time

So far this is probably the shortest post I’ve written in this blog.

Even the tone of my writing seems like what I used to use when I was a clueless beginner. I am still clueless and starting to find my beat of words, thoughts, and emotions.

Am I getting rusty? Well, I hope to get back at writing in the flow.

Things will get better. They always do aren’t they?
