What Bills will I Pay Online
I am still wondering why I haven’t paid attention on Coins.ph yet I’m thrilled knowing that I can pay online bills through apps.
- SSS
- Pag-IBIG (regular savings)
- Utility bills
Many years ago, I stopped contributing on SSS since I planned to become a dual citizen and didn’t know what savings should be prioritized demographically.
For now I am paying Pag-IBIG consistently and like the SSS, I decided not to continue paying for PhilHealth.
As a precaution, I buy travel insurance (eg. World Nomads) on my first vacation in the Philippines and Cambodia.

Something is Missing
It’s great what Coins.ph is doing that I would even recommend it to friends.
But where is PhilHealth on the biller list?
My siblings would have no hassle paying PhilHealth online if they can also use the app.
And what about Modified Pag-IBIG II (MP2).
Although I sign up on Virtual Pag-IBIG, I still can’t pay MP2 online. I hope the code glitch on the site to be fixed soon.
Amidst getting used to the new normal due to pandemic, I continue to save on different funds (eg. travel), invest in ETF.
Speaking of ETF, during this time I spent my time watching Tim Nash’s videos about sustainable investing and decided to buy iShares Global Water Index ETF (CWW). It’s my first doing-more-good ETF in my portfolio. The goal is to transition to sustainable ETFs and buy dividend paying stocks with decent ESG scores.
I digressed to give a little update about how I invest during the pandemic.
On a lighter note, I want to know how are you dealing with personal finance using technology to keep social distancing.
